The environment at St. Britto High School is a highly dynamic and vigorous one. As a teacher one needs to be fully prepared to undertake any task at any moment. And there are so many moments! The opportunities are endless- from spontaneous lessons to judging competitions, from training students to sing, play, deliver speeches and perform to performing for them… these are among the many everyday challenges and opportunities- each a reason to push out of one’s comfort zone and grow.
The school runs on a strict regiment of discipline that strives to uphold civil, moral and Jesuit values. It is also equipped with the best of facilities and resources (right from sanitation to technology) to ensure maximum benefit for students as well as teachers, the most hyped being the projectors in every classroom that students enjoy and that pave new avenues for teachers to explore in their practice. However, it is in no comparison to the calibre of human resources that form part of the St. Britto family. The teachers at St. Britto are dynamic, hardworking and dedicated to their students and professional growth. It was inspiring to be amidst them during my term there.
The Staff of St. Britto High School have always been warm, accommodating, generous, gracious, and so lovely that we built a great rapport and became more than just co-workers, we became friends. Even the most feared personalities turned out to be the warmest of smiling faces there. There was always an energy of inclusion that made my transition into life at school a pleasant one. My time at St. Britto High School was truly an enriching experience and I shall always remember it fondly.

High school should be fun. The moments spent here should be one of the happiest days of our lives. We all anticipate this even before the first day of class. So how come others like me don't recall ever having a fun moment in high school? Is it just a big box where young people are being taught how to follow the system blindly? Is there really a life after high school? Does it only belong to a select few? The ones who are in the upper social class? How exactly does it become fun for people who were socially awkward?

High school years are the best years of schooling for me. Many of of us never forget the memories of being there. Those romantic crushes, embarrassment, desperate struggles everyday from bullies, sexual awakening, parental pressure and, above all else, competition against each other. But in spite all of that, Some learned a lot and some fail. I think it was the best time to mold our new generation students in some alternative approach in learning in life. High school is just a small step towards the world of adulthood.
