Memories of My Trekking Trip

My school organised a trekking trip for students of std VII on 20th August,2019.
40 students participated in the trekking trip. We were accompanied by 4 teachers and 2 guides. We went to Mhadei Wild Life Sanctuary. We left at 9.30 am from the school premises. Upon reaching our trekking spot our trekking guide and a local of the village accompanied us for the trek.
We walked through the fields, streams, swamps, forests and saw 4 waterfalls. We saw the water flowing over the rocks. It was a magnificent view. Since the first waterfall was very safe we were allowed to enter and enjoy the cool water. Wow! We had a great time. We did not even spare our teachers. While moving from one waterfall to the next we saw various types of trees, birds and the sounds of waterfalls nearby. The silence of the forests and the hustling sound of water made it a memorable moment.
When we reached the second waterfall we were allowed to enter the water. We had our lunch with lots of laughter and collected the garbage back in our own bag as we were instructed to keep our nature clean. We students and teachers enjoyed bathing in the waterfalls. The third and the fourth waterfall were not safe and so we were not allowed to enter. We took a lot of selfies and admired the beauty of nature. We were back in school by 4.30 pm.
It was a joy filled day, we enjoyed a lot. We realised how beautiful our nature is. It made us aware that we need to make a great effort to preserve nature. We had a fantastic trip under the watchful eyes of the teachers and the two experienced guides. We thank our school for organising such trips and we are eagerly waiting for more nature and trekking trips.
